Kontribusi Father Attachment dan Self Esteem terhadap Peer Victimization pada Remaja

Abstract

Usia remaja merupakan masa yang krusial karena merupakan masa peralihan dari usia anak-anak menuju dewasa. Usia dimana terjadi perubahan fisik dan hormon ini memberikan tantangan sendiri bagi remaja untuk menyelesaikan tugas perkembangannya dalam menentukan identitas diri. Remaja menghadapi banyak dinamika dalam interaksi sosial dengan teman sebaya yang beresiko tinggi dalam pengalaman peer victimization. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah father attachment sebagai faktor eksternal dan self esteem sebagai faktor internal dapat berkontribusi dalam mengurangi resiko peer victimization pada remaja. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah remaja laki-laki dan perempuan berusia antara 12-14 tahun dengan total sampel berjumlah 129 remaja yang diambil di kota Depok dan Jakarta. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan analisis regresi berganda menggunakan program SPSS 25. Hasil analisis secara umum menunjukkan bahwa father attachment dan self esteem berkorelasi secara signifikan dengan peer victimization (p=0.001>0.05) dengan kontribusi sebesar 22.4%. Selanjutnya, diketahui bahwa  remaja perempuan memiliki resiko pengalaman peer victimization yang lebih tinggi dibanding remaja laki-laki, dan remaja laki-laki memiliki skor rata-rata kelekatan dengan ayah yang lebih baik serta skor self esteem yang lebih baik dibanding dengan remaja perempuan.
