Peran Efikasi Guru Sebagai Mediator dalam Hubungan Conscientiousness dan Teacher Burnout
Abstract
Guru adalah profesi yang rentan burnout. Dampak dari teacher burnout juga berpengaruh terhadap institusi dan peserta didik. Beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap teacher burnout adalah conscientiousness serta efikasi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah conscientiousness dapat memengaruhi teacher burnout lewat mediasi efikasi guru. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah guru dari seluruh jenjang pendidikan formal di Indonesia yang mengajar selama minimal enam bulan (N=303). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa conscientiousness memprediksi teacher burnout melalui efikasi guru secara signifikan, F (2, 301) = 80,290, p < 0,001, R2 = 0,2106. Dalam melakukan rekrutmen guru, kepribadian dapat menjadi salah satu pertimbangan. Intervensi terkait dengan efikasi guru juga dapat semakin menurunkan angka teacher burnout.
