Efektivitas Yoga untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Tidur: Studi Meta-Analisis

Kualitas tidur berperan penting dalam kesehatan fisik dan psikologis individu dalam jangka panjang. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diketahui bahwa kualitas tidur perlu diperhatikan untuk meminimalisir konsekuensi fisik maupun psikologis yang bisa terjadi. Intervensi yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas tidur salah satunya adalah yoga. Namun, terdapat temuan yang beragam sehingga menimbulkan inkonsistensi antara beberapa penelitian sehingga dibutuhkan studi meta-analisis untuk melihat besaran efek serta kategorisasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas yoga untuk meningkatkan kualitas tidur individu. Penelitian ini adalah studi meta-analisis menggunakan N, M, dan SD kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen untuk dianalisis sehingga mendapatkan nilai effect size (g = 0,647, Cl -0,736 – 2,030, efek medium). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa yoga efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas tidur individu. Oleh karena itu, yoga dapat direkomendasikan sebagai salah satu intervensi non-farmakologis bagi individu yang mengalami gangguan tidur atau ingin meningkatkan kualitas tidur.
