Pengalaman Ibu Tunggal dalam Mendirikan Komunitas Belajar Anak: Studi Fenomenologis

Abstract

Seorang ibu tunggal memiliki banyak tantangan, seperti stigma masyarakat dan peran ganda untuk mencari nafkah dan mengasuh anak. Tantangan tersebut dimaknai berbeda-beda oleh setiap ibu tunggal, salah satunya kesulitan yang dihadapi ibu tunggal dapat memotivasinya untuk melakukan tindakan prososial, seperti membentuk komunitas belajar anak.  Sejauh ini, belum ada penelitian mengenai pengalaman ibu tunggal dalam mendirikan sekaligus mengelola komunitas belajar anak. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengalaman ibu tunggal dalam mengelola komunitas belajar anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis dengan teknik analisis data  Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Partisipan berjumlah satu orang ibu tunggal yang berdomisili di Kota Semarang. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat tiga tema induk, yaitu pengalaman sebagai ibu tunggal, pengalaman mengelola komunitas, dan ketahanan diri dalam menghadapi kesulitan. Pendirian dan pengelolaan komunitas belajar anak bagi ibu tunggal tidak hanya sebagai sarana membantu orang lain, tetapi juga sebagai bagian untuk menjalani hidup yang bermakna.
