Abstract

The roads is the most important part and have a very big influence on the economic growth of the community, as well as one of the means that helps in distributing goods, people and services from one place to another. the Sugihwaras - Ngelo road section is a local road (according to the classification of road functions) that connects several villages in the Ngraho Bojonegoro area, the access to the Sugiwaras - Ngelo route is a hilly area and is also part of the Perhutani area. The results of traffic calculations show that the volume is 356 vehicles/day/2 lanes and the traffic flow in junior high school is 271 pcu/hour. Then for the calculation of the thickness of the pavement for 2-way traffic lanes, the LEP value = 15.98496, the LET value = 20.74 while the value for the 5-year design life is obtained LER = 10.37. then from manual calculations to calculate the surface layer thickness using the Component Analysis Method (MAK), for a 5 year design life with an ITP value of 4.8 a surface layer with a thickness of 5.6 cm is produced. So that from the results of existing pavements and surface layer calculations, it is obtained that the thickness of each pavement layer is Top Layer with Lapen material = 5.6 cm, Upper Foundation Layer with Crushed Stone material = 15 cm, Lower Foundation Layer with stone sand material = 10 cm, So The Total Pavement Thickness = 30.6 cm.
