Abstract

Gongseng Reservoir aims to improve Pacal irrigation performance so as to increase crop productivity in the area around irrigation. The main function of the construction of this dam is to collect water during the rainy season which at the same time can reduce flooding and will be used in the dry season as a water reserve to meet the raw water needs of the surrounding community. location and supply of water for irrigation purposes in DI Pacal. This analysis aims to determine the performance of the irrigation area in the future when the Gongseng Reservoir has been functioned by analyzing the availability of water in the Klepek Dam, water demand, and planting area in Pacal DI. The calculation of water availability uses the sum of the Pacal Reservoir's outflow data and the Gongseng Reservoir's planned discharge which is the availability discharge at the Klepek Dam. water demand is calculated using the FPR/LPR method with a Relative Palawija Factor of 0.12. Determination of Pacal Irrigation Performance in terms of rice planting area in MT II with the comparison results obtained by the availability of water of 22.05 million m3, with a water requirement of 1,866.24 m3/ha in the rice planting season II. So that the total planted area after the Gongseng Reservoir is 11,816.24 Ha of rice and 4,816 Ha of secondary crops or with a total addition of 35% from the initial planting area.
