Kajian Terhadap Metodologi Penafsiran al-Quran Dalam Tafsir Mujaz Karya Roem Rowi

Abstract

The Al-Quran is the word of Allah which was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through the angel Gabriel, starting from surah al-fatihah and ending with surah al-nas, and those who read it are considered worship. The Koran is ijmali (global) so it needs a more detailed explanation. The first person to interpret the Koran was the Prophet Muhammad. After the death of the Prophet, this authority was continued by his friends, tabi'in, and mufassir-mufassir after him. Interpretation of the Qur'an involves human intervention, in the sense that interpretation cannot be separated from the interests and tendencies of individuals or groups. The emergence of various kinds of tafsir books with various methods and styles is proof that efforts to interpret the Qur'an never stop. Among the tafsir that has helped enrich the treasures of Islamic knowledge is the tafsir Mujaz by Roem Rowi. This article aims to find out the systematics, methods and styles of Mujaz interpretation. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, namely data that is descriptive, unstructured and in the form of words and is comprehensive, broad and in depth. The data collection technique is library research, by collecting study material from several literatures related to the study material being discussed. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique is carried out using the content analysis method (text analysis). The results of the research show that the systematics of writing the Mujaz interpretation book are orderly verses, there is an explanation of the verse before interpreting the letter, there are thematic verses, munasabah verses, asbabun nuzul and there is ibrah. Meanwhile, the Mujaz interpretation method is to use the general ijmali method which is not dominated by certain thoughts, but rather interprets the verses of the Qur'an according to their meaning.
