STRATEGI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM IMPLEMENTASI NILAI MULTIKULTURAL (Studi di SMA Darut Taqwa Sengonagung Purwosari Pasuruan)

The focus of this research is 1) to find out the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the process of implementing the implementation of multicultural education values ​​in class XI students at Darut Taqwa High School Purwosari Pasuruan, 2) supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing multicultural values ​​of grade XI students at Darut High School Taqwa Purwosari Pasuruan, 3) to find out the results of the implementation of multicultural values ​​of class XI students at Darut High School Taqwa Purwosari Pasuruan. This research uses a qualitative approach. While the data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The research informants were the Principal, Religion Teachers, and Students. The results of the research show that the strategies for implementing multicultural values ​​in Darut Taqwa High School are as follows: 1) Traditional strategies by giving advice and indoctrination which are good and which are bad, 2) Free strategies by informing students of good and bad values, but students are given the freedom to choose and judge for themselves. 3) Reflective strategy, by analyzing empirical cases resulting in rational awareness and value insights. 4) Trans internal strategy by transforming values ​​through example and communication. 2) Supporting factors and inhibiting factors in implementing multicultural values ​​in Darut Taqwa High School as follows: a) Supporting factors include: 1) Thought KH. Sholeh Bahruddin, 2) Darut Taqwa High School, 3) Integrative evaluation pattern between school and pesantren. b) Inhibiting factors include: 1) minim of understanding of multicultural education in students, 2) the absence of a comprehensive multicultural value investment in other subjects, 3) teachers lack media about diversity, 4) In school posters, writing, as well as pictures showing diversity and multicultural values ​​are still lacking. Results of the implementation of Islamic religious education in Darut Taqwa High School Purwosari Pasuruan with their tolerance contents had a positive impact on the formation of student character, so students interacted in school and lived side by side regardless of differences in backgrounds in each individual.
