The existence of the Pasuruan GUSDURian community aims to continue Gus Dur's example of multicultural values ​​that have been applied during his life, in order to live side by side with other cultures and countries. Gus Dur's humanist attitude of tolerance to be side by side with differences in any way, the values ​​inherent in Gus Dur resulted in Gus Dur's 9 main values ​​which were used as benchmarks for the GUSDURian community in continuing its struggle. At the end of 2019, the coordinating ministry for human development and culture of the Republic of Indonesia gave the Indonesian GUSDURian an award as a mental revolution with the category of social institutions as a field of movement: networks on issues of democracy, people's economy and gender equality. In this case, the Indonesian ministry considers that the GUSDURian can fulfill the objectives of the Mental Revolution award. For this reason, Gusdurian Pasuruan is still carrying out its mission of instilling the values ​​of tolerance and democracy to the people of Pasuruan from various circles.
