REALIZATION OF ARTISTIC ARTS AS ALTERNATIVE PLURALISTIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION MEDIA AT SUNAN KALIJOGO JABUNG MALANG MIDDLE SCHOOL

Abstract

Implementation of  pluralistic religious education in SMP Sunan Kalijogo Jabung, namely the realization of musical art which is carried out by providing guidance, supervision, example, and teaching to students. The goal is that students can practice the values of pluralistic religious education. Thus the cultivation of religious educational values through musical arts is the most important mission that must be carried out by teachers to the morals of students, in order to be able to implement religious values in everyday life.

This research method is qualitative, data collection techniques using participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out starting from data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To test the validity of the data, attendance extension, triangulation, peer discussion and clarification with informants was carried out.

The results of the research are: optimization of Islamic Religious Education teachers, to realize pluralistic religious education through musical arts at Sunan Kalijogo Jabung Junior High School. The values of pluralistic religious education, which are based on faith and respect for diversity. By having a religious spirit and strong faith, humans will be more obedient to the creator. In realizing pluralistic religious education through musical arts education, the efforts made are to instill morals, namely by playing gamelan instruments and religious verses in musical arts which contains religious education, morality, monotheism and social ways.
