The Indonesian nation is a pluralistic nation with many tribes, races, religions, cultures and customs. This plurality can have a positive and negative impact on a person's character. In a family of different religions, the process of forming a child's character is a very unique thing to talk about. Because in it there is an interaction of family members who hold the principle of inclusive tolerance. Therefore, researchers are interested in researching (1) the principles of inclusive tolerance in interfaith families in Kayukebek Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency, (2) the process of inculcating inclusive tolerance characters in interfaith families in Kayukebek Village, Pasuruan Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach in the type of case study. The results of this study are: 1) The principles of inclusive tolerance in interfaith families in Kayukebek Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency include; (a) unity and brotherhood, (b) equality, (c) freedom, (d) relations between religious adherents, (e) benefit, and (f) democracy. 2) The process of inculcating the character of inclusive tolerance in interfaith families in Kayukebek Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency through good advice, parental example, habituation from parents and stories about inter-religious harmony.
