ANALISIS KOMPARATIF MAKNA SHALAWAT UNTUK NABI MUHAMMAD SAW DALAM AL-QUR’AN QS. AL-AHZAB: 56 MENURUT AL-MARAGHI DAN MUQOTIL BIN SULAIMAN
Abstract
This study discusses the comparative interpretation method, which is important to do, to find out the true meaning of interpretation by comparing contemporary interpretations and classical interpretations, namely Ahmad Musthafa Al-Maraghi and Muqotil Bin Sulaiman, in this thesis examines the Meaning of Shalawat to the Prophet Muhammad SAW in the Qur'an. An, this research is a type of library research. The data collected is then analyzed using a comparative method to identify the content of the meaning of shalawat in al-Qura'an surah al-Ahzab verse 56. The results of this study are that the interpretation of Q.S. According to Ahmad Musthafa al-Maraghi, al-Ahzab 56 is the prayer of Allah for giving mercy to the Prophet Muhammad, while Muqotil bin Sulaiman interprets the prayer of Allah as giving forgiveness to the Prophet Muhammad, while the prayer for angels is asking for mercy according to al-Maraghi and asking for forgiveness according to Muqotil bin Solomon. Looking at the interpretation of the two, the difference in the meaning of sholawat in the interpretation of the two figures, namely in the interpretation of al-maraghi interpreting the sholawat of Allah SWT to the Prophet is mercy. by explaining the respect for the Prophet in all the inhabitants of the sky with His words: Innallaha wa mala'ikatahu yuá¹£alluna 'alan-nabiyy. While on the inhabitants of the earth it is stated by His words: Ya ayyuhal lazina amani allu 'alaihi wa sallimu taslimÄ. The salat that Allah does, means to give mercy. What the angels do is to ask for forgiveness. while muqotil bin sulaiman interprets the Shalawat of Allah SWT giving forgiveness to the Prophet, while the similarities between the two are both asking for forgiveness except in terms of intercession or delivery, the results of this study are expected to be a useful study as well as knowledge and information material as well as input for the academic community and all needy party.
