Abstract

Dual system plantation aims to utilize existing resources efficiently. Experimental design using separate plots, repeated three times. The main plot consists of soybean row spacing of 40 cm x 10 cm (JT-1, one plant per hole), 40 cm x 15 cm (JT-2, two plants per hole) and 40 cm x 20 cm (JT-3, two plants per holes). Subplots consisting of 11 soybean varieties. Soybeans were planted 3 rows of 5 m long intercropped with maize Lamuru variety (120-50 cm) x 20 cm, 1 plant / hole in IP2TP Muneng, Probolinggo Regency, East Java during secondary dry season of 2018. The results showed that Dena 1 and Deja 1 varieties were able to reach 2.17 t/ha and 2.13 t/haaverage seed yield, respectively. Dena 1 variety is suitable for JT-1 and JT-2 treatments, while Deja 1 is suitable for JT-3. Argomulyo and Anjasmoro varieties in JT-1, Deja 1 in JT-2 and Deja 2 inJT-3 were able to gain 2.0 t/ha seed yield. Dena 1 is a suitable variety for intercropping with the total soybean population is 333,333 plant
