METODE TAFSIR ZANJABIL SURAH ALI IMRAN KARYA ABDURRAHMAN RADEN AJI HAQQI

Abstract

The main reference used by Abdurrahman RA. Haqqi in delivering the study of Tafsir Zanjabil is Tafsir Ibn Kathir, the fruit of Ibn Kathir al-Dimasyqi's work. However, what is described in the Zanjabil Bulletin which is then summarized and re-edited in Zanjabil's Tafsir has different characteristics and writing styles from Ibn Kathir's Tafsir. Zanjabil's interpretation is more concise and delivered in simple language that can be understood by all levels. This study focuses on the interpretation method used by Abdurrahman RA. Haqqi in his commentary and to reveal the uniqueness and privileges of Tafsir Zanjabil in deciphering the meanings of the Qur'an. The approach used in this research is library research. Meanwhile, for data mining, observation, documentation, and data analysis were carried out. The result of this research is that in the practice of interpreting Haqqi, it appears that he uses four approaches to the interpretation method at once. First, he uses the Tafsir Tahlili (analytical) method, meaning that with this method Haqqi intends to explain the content of the verses of the Qur'an from all its aspects in detail, although again quite briefly. Second, Haqqi uses the Thematic Tafsir (Mawdhui'i) method, meaning, through this method, he believes that the verses of the Qur'an have a central key theme as the main idea in the second group of verses. Haqqi also uses the Muqarin Method (Comparative) approach in interpreting the Qur'an in Tafsir Zanjabil, but Haqqi does not use the Muqarin method methodologically
