KISAH NABI ZAKARIYAH DALAM AL-QUR’AN (Kajian Hermeneutika Fazlur Rahman (Double Movement))

Abstract

The Qur'an is a holy book that provides instructions and lessons for Muslims, one of the forms of lessons is conveyed through verses that contain stories such as the story of the prophet Zakariyah studied in this thesis. the author will examine the meaning of the verse in order to find the value contained so that it can be taken away. The purpose of this study is that the author wants to make the ibrah of the verse of the story an example for today's people.

This research us a literature review (Library Research) by choosing the Fazlur Rahman Hermeneutics method or Double Movement as a method of interpreting the verses of the story of the prophet Zakariyah which focuses on understanding the verses of the Qur'an with the socio-historical state of the current verses and circumstances. With this step, the author can prove that the prosperity of the Qur'an is not limited by time and forever becomes a guide for human life.
