This study delves into the relationship between school discipline and student learning motivation, focusing on the pivotal role of teacher discipline in motivating students. School discipline, comprised of rules and regulations, is integral to creating a conducive learning environment. The discipline of educators significantly influences students' motivation to learn, fostering an atmosphere of commitment and adherence to academic goals. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, reinforced by data triangulation for validation. The findings shed light on several key aspects. Firstly, student learning motivation, specifically in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), is augmented through various strategies. These strategies include recognizing and rewarding student achievements, cultivating an engaging and enjoyable learning environment, offering praise, innovatively delivering lessons, and ensuring punctuality and cleanliness in classrooms. Motivation plays a pivotal role in elevating learning achievements. Secondly, teacher discipline emerges as a crucial factor in enhancing student motivation. It encompasses not only instructional strategies but also adherence to school schedules, enforcing regulations, and setting a positive example through exemplary behavior. Lastly, this study identifies both supporting and inhibiting factors in teacher discipline. Supportive factors encompass school leadership, teachers, students, and community involvement. In contrast, hindering factors encompass variations in student backgrounds, environmental factors, self-discipline, and differences in parental involvement. Understanding these dynamics is vital for improving the overall learning experience and achievement of students.
